Students in this intensive short course will be able to have one week's preparation on a character and scene with their peers, and one week dedicated to filming and learning how it works on set. This is repeated twice over the 4 weeks so attendance to every class is essential. We will also learn all about the auditioning process and run mock auditions and go over self tapping techniques and advice.
There will likely only be around 4 students in this class so a great way to get really personalised coaching from Kate.

Acting for Screen - for kids!
With so many successful kids television shows being made in Australia, there is a demand for good child actors in each new generation , but what makes a good child actor?
A sense of truth, emotional availability and openness, and the ability to authentically recreate these states in performance again and again.
Through our acting for screen classes, we work on these skills firstly through games and play, then integrate this naturalness into the a scripted scene while learning to navigate seamlessly with all the technical aspects that you will face working on a film set.
This class is great for building confidence, improving communication skills and expressing yourself and learning to work as a cast/crew (team) all the while having great fun. And if working professionally in film and TV is something you are interested in, this class will give you skills and experience you can’t get anywhere else.
