Charmaine GormanRelativly new to the writing foray, Charmaine's second full length play is bound to make you smile, giggle, laugh, chuckle and/or guffaw. Her first piece of writing, "Centre Stage With Your Arms Up" was produced in March 1999 at the Carlton Court House for a sell out three week season. Charmaine and her sister Kate have adapted that script for the big screen and are currently working with a producer to convert it into a feature film. Also in Charmaine’s credits are plays about beer, wine, food and cigarettes as well as writing for channel 9's sketch comedy programme "Comedy Inc." |

Kal KingiKal Kingi originally trained with Sonstrum, a radical theatre group in
Poland, who incorporated the techniques of Strassberg and Grotowski with
the spiritual practices of the Ashu Ginta group. Kal then entered into
a 3 month solitary actor training retreat in the Appalachian Mountains.
There he developed a 'lived-through' experiental technique which culminated
at the end of the retreat into a 3 hour improvised epic of floral/faunal
body/voice incorporations. This was presented to an exclusive audience
at a local community festival. Presently Kal is a 'Way of Life' coach. |

The Floor Manager guy |
Luke DoxeyFrom last Fringe Festival to this one Luke has performed in 5 other pieces of theatre, 2 short films, eaten over 1095 meals, and helped 14 little old ladies accross their respective roads - it has been a busy year. The shows haven't exactly been a walk in the park either, oh no, one of them, which was staged in the back room of his house, included two performances on that horrible 43°c day last summer. So, for this show Luke has decided that he isn't going to be putting any effort into extraneous things like learning lines. At the very least it'll be interesting to see what he comes up with. |
