Kate GormanKate is a powerful director
with a passion to tell stories. With her debut feature Five Moments of
Infidelity,
she has made a truly special film which showcases her
talent for capturing compelling and honest performances and announces
her entrance to Australian Film Industry. Although this is her first
feature she has more experience in the industry than most her age. Kate
has been working in film and television for 20 years as an actor,
starting out at age 15, with the lead role in an award winning kids TV
show and going on to have lead/ongoing roles in 20 television shows and
appear in six feature films and over 25 theatre production both in
Australia and the UK.
She started working as a writer five years ago in television for awarding winning sketch comedy show Full Frontal and Comedy Inc, at the same time developing a screenplay with her sister Charmaine, that received FilmVic development funding and has been optioned by the successful Australian movie production company Mondayitis. As a director she has done seven theatre productions, many produced by her own production company Baby Banksia. After turning down an offer to attend the prestigious Directors Course at NIDA to have her first baby instead and then trained at AFTRS in Melbourne, was accepted to do a Director’s Attachment on the successful long running television series Blue Heelers. Kate then went on to direct second unit on the recent feature film You and Your Stupid Mate. |

Don LinkeDon has over twenty years
of experience in the film and television Industry as an Assistant
Director, Production Manager and Producer. He has worked in Australia,
New Zealand and Hong Kong in film, commercials and television drama.
Don has Produced several short films, has been Associate Producer
on two features and as is currently producing the feature Wil
shooting in Melbourne in September.

Greg Parish A.C.SMulti awarding winning, and Australian Cinematographers Society accredited, D.O.P Greg Parish has shot over 19 films, 28 documentaries and too many commercials, video clips and corporate films to mention. He has won an AFI for best Cinematography for the documentary El Nino, 6 gold, 2 silver and 5 highly commended awards from the Australian Cinematographer's Society for best cinematography for both his disciplines of drama and documentary, and his work has received a nomination for Best TVC at the Cannes Film Festival. |

Rolland PikeRoland is currently working on Charlotte’s Web. Other credits include the soon to be released The Great Raid where he was Set Decorator working with academy award nominated designer Bruno Rubio. Rolland’s other award winning films include The Thin Red Line (where he worked under award winning designer Jack Fish), Darkness Falls, The Heartbreak Kid, The Wilde Girl, Queen of the Damned, as well as telemovies 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, The Lost World, Beverly Hills Family Robinson, The Thorn Birds - the Missing Years and 26 other television shows and films. |

Her award winning work includes a TVC (for Navigator) - finalist for this year's MADC Awards for Best Post Production, Music Clip for ‘Bang This’ for J Wess Project - finalist in the St Kilda Film Festival 2004. The 30 minute short film Manoel - Best International and Best Relationships Category in the Showcase Short Film Festival, Florida USA in 2003. |

Lloyd CarrickOur most experienced crew member, Lloyd has won 2 Australian Film institute awards for best sound for the films Mad Max II in 1982 and The Lighthorsemen in 1988. Some of his many, many other credits include Anzacs directed by George Miller and starring Paul Hogan, Proof starring Russell Crowe and Quigley Down Under with Tom Sellick. |

Kevin and Jimi HockingKevin Hocking has conducted and recorded with the Melbourne, Queensland, Adelaide and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras. He has worked at HSV7, GTV9 before moving on to the ABC, Kevin was part of the ABC Melbourne Show Band, playing piano, orchestrating, and finally taking over as Music Director. During his ABC days he wrote numerous TV scores which are seen and heard around the world. One of these, 'Nature Of Australia', won the French Television award for best documentary score of the year.His eldest son Jimi, a guitarist of great talent, is always in demand as a ‘hired gun’. Consequently, apart from his own previous groups Jimi the Human & Spectre 7 and The Astro Boys, Jimi has lent his guitar prowess to groups as diverse as The Coasters (USA), Chelsea Brown, The Angels and The Screaming Jets . He has produced nine albums under his own name and appeared in the Top 20 charts, collecting gold and platinum albums for his trouble. Jimi has even played a little blues to BB King himself… who declared: "I been watching you, you’re real good". A three time ‘CAV’ best acoustic performer’ Jimi was also the 2003 MBAS ‘Male Blues Artist of the Year’, 2004 MBAS Blues Performer of the Year’ and, more recently, the 2005 winner of the ‘International Blues Challenge’ in Memphis USA. |

Vicki CarVicki was part of the prestigious Royal Opera House’s millinery department in Covent Garden for three years designing and making hats for all the Royal Ballet and Opera productions. She also worked for 11 other West End theatres over 11 years. In Australia she has worked for the Melbourne Theatre Company for six of their recent productions, as well as the musicals We Will Rock You and The Producers. She was milliner for the ABC program Outback House. |
